Also: Wakefield 2019 date now confirmed!
The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club (WROCC) will be holding their next meeting on Wednesday, 3rd October, and the theme for the evening is Micro Miscellany. Rather than a set speaker, the idea is that members and visitors can bring along any of their own projects, anything else that others may find interesting, or anything they need help with.
The meeting begins at 7:45pm, and takes place at the group’s regular venue:
West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club,
Sandal Hall Close (off Walton Lane),
(A61) Barnsley Road,
Sandal,
Wakefield, WF2 6ER.
Entry to the meeting is free to members, but non-members are also welcome for a modest entry fee of £3.00. If you’d like to join, the annual membership fee is just £15.00, with a first year discount of 50%, bringing it down to £7.50. As well as free entry into meetings, membership also brings with it a PDF newsletter, delivered by email and available to download from the Members’ Area of the group’s website, and access to the WROCC Discussion Forum.
Can’t make it to this meeting? The club has the next few already planned:
- 7th November – Mike Cook
- 5th December – An Evening of Festive Fun
- 9th January – Annual General Meeting (members only)
And looking further ahead, the date of the 2019 Wakefield Acorn and RISC OS Show has been set – so put 27th April in your diaries!
