Our supplier has made available a small number of “premium brand” (hint, begins with an “S”) tablets at a heavily reduced price. The catch is that they are “open box” units, although full packaging is included. Warranty is full 12month, plus a short “no quibble” return period.
The tablets feature a fast quad-core ARM CPU, with 2GB of RAM and a super-high screen resolution in excess of 1080p. That’s nearly double the normal number of pixels for a 10inch tablet. There’s 16GB of storage, which is expandable by micro-SD. There’s also a GPS sensor for navigation purposes (i.e. to pinpoint your location in maps).
The price is £199.99, which is roughly half the normal SRP. The price includes VAT, but carriage is on top if not collecting.
A range of accessories is also available.
On a personal note, this is the same model/class of tablet that I’ve been running myself for the last 6 months or so. I paid significantly more for mine! Needless to say, I snapped up another for the family.
