Breaking news: Shock update to Wakefield exhibitors and theatre

I hope you’re all sitting down for this one 🙁 Earlier today (well, yesterday, strictly speaking), RISCOSitory published a preview of the Wakefield Show, which takes place on 16th April – two weeks from now. In that piece, a specific point was made of MW Software being on the exhibitor list – largely because Martin Würthner wasn’t at the show last year and, indeed, his show appearances have, of late, been a little rare. Wakefield 2016: A little over two weeks away

One does not simply walk into Mordor Wakefield. It’s better to go by car or train. This year’s Wakefield Show will be taking place on 16th April, which is now just over two weeks away. The show will take place in the combined Cypress, Hawthorne and Oak Suites of its usual venue, the rather nice – and very easy to find – Cedar Court Hotel, which is a stone’s throw from junction 39 of the M1, so readily accessible by car.

Raspberry Pi range grows again

It was Pi time we had a new one. Today marks the fourth anniversary of the release of the original Raspberry Pi – and it is also the first year that the cheap, credit card-sized computer can celebrate its anniversary on the correct date, having been first put on sale on 29th February, 2012. And the Raspberry Pi Foundation have celebrated by adding another new version to the range: The Raspberry Pi 3.

Mike Cook at Wakefield meeting – 3rd February
