The who and the what. The only why is why weren’t you there? The 2015 RISC OS London Show took place on 24th October, 2015 – and while the number of visitors was (I believe) just shy of 110, there were plenty of RISC OS users unable to attend. So what did they miss?

Show report: Wakefield 2015
Aaaaaand breathe! It has been a massive seven weeks since this year’s Wakefield Show – so if you’ve turned a rather unsightly colour as a result of holding your breath waiting for the RISCOSitory show report, it’s now time to breathe normally again and let your normal colour return!
RISC OS users to get some wrist action – ‘watch’ this space!
‘RISC OS Band’ coming soon! Here’s a little experiment for you. It might not work for everyone – it depends on a number of factors, such as the size of screen you use for RISC OS and the resolution you run it at, and the type of watch you wear (if you wear one at all) will also determine the outcome – but it probably will work for most users.
Show report: Southwest 2015
‘Ello, John, got a new motor computer? The most rubber-dated show in the RISC OS calendar, the RISC OS Southwest Show, took place this year just one week ago, on 21st February, 2015 – and it was a busy show, well attended by both visitors and exhibitors. As usual, the event took place at the Webbington Hotel, Loxton, Somerset, on the side of Crook Peak in the Mendip Hills – a location which, while a touch harder to get to than most shows, is one which is undeniably scenic, with…
RISC OS Awards 2014 – a reminder, and a memory jog
Remembering it for you, so you don’t have to. With the form for the 2014 RISC OS Awards poll now having been online for more than half of the intended period – it was opened for votes at the start of December, and will be closed in just three weeks at the end of January – it’s disappointing to note that the number of votes is worryingly low, at just 50 so far. And glancing at those votes, quite a number of people have only cast votes in a small…
Show report: London 2014
If you need to read this, shame on you – you weren’t there! The 2014 London Show took place two and a half weeks ago, on 25th October, at the St Giles Hotel, Feltham – and, with the trusty RISCOSitory coin suggesting anti-clockwise as the direction to take, here’s a rundown of who was there and what they’d brought along.

I hope you haven’t put those diaries down closed Organizer! As well as the 2015 South West Show, another date now known is that for the 2015 London Show. The proposed date – which was mentioned at this year’s show (for which the RISCOSitory show report will – hopefully – appear this coming weekend), and confirmed very soon after – is Saturday, 24th October.
Date announced for RISC OS South West 2015
Get next year’s diaries out Organizer loaded, folks – it’s #rosw2015! Usually the first of the year, and certainly the most rubber-dated one with a date that moves almost as much as Easter, the date for the 2015 RISC OS South West Show has been set: Saturday, 21st February.
Show Report: Wakefield 2014
I never knew the RiscPC tasted so good! This year’s big RISC OS event in the North – the Wakefield Show – took place on 26th April, so it is once again time to put pen to paper fingers to keyboard, and write about it for the benefit of those who were unable to attend. As usual, the show took place in the Cedar Court Hotel, Denby Dale Road, just off junction 39 of the M1 – the same venue in which it started some eighteen years ago (making this…
