Visitors to the recent London Show – and readers of the RISCOSitory account of the event – will know that one of the items on display was a keyboard on the RISC OS Open Ltd stand. New products and CJE / 4D at the London Show on Saturday
Announcement from Chris Evans, 22nd October, 2015. CJE Micro’s and 4D are expecting a bumper London RISC OS show this Saturday, 24th October. We will have the latest, fastest RISC OS computers available to buy! We will also have many of our ever expanding range of computers, peripherals and spares for all things Acorn and/or RISC OS. A few are highlighted below. We also hope to have a prototype with us – it’s big and it’s red!
IGEPv5 system now in full production
Announcement from Chris Evans, 22nd October, 2015. Our IGEPv5 based computer (name to be revealed at the London RISC OS show on Saturday) has now moved to full production.
RISC OS FR: hosting service and second programming contest
Earlier this year, the French RISC OS resource RISC OS FR run by David Feugey moved to a new server. Previously, the site was being served from a Raspberry Pi running RISC OS – something that, while clearly possible, is probably not an ideal solution.
London show set to be the biggest yet
Breathe in – likely to be standing room only! This year’s London Show – which takes place in five weeks time, on 24th October, 2015 – is shaping up to be the biggest yet, with an impressive 27 exhibitors currently listed on the show website. Those exhibitors include plenty of familiar faces at RISC OS shows, and quite a number who are new – be that to shows in general, or just this one. And to cap all that, it seems that some of the regular attendees have asked for…

MUG Show at Recursion Computer Science Fair
To be or not to be? To be, to be – obviously! Over the last few years, the Midsummer Midlands MUG Show became so excruciatingly small that for the last couple of years (2014, 2013) the visitor numbers have only just been in the twenties – and last year the decision was made that there wouldn’t be a show at all this year. At least, not a standalone show – but RISC OS users looking for an early July event to attend in the Midlands are in luck!
