RISC OS Developments Ltd has announced that the work that has been underway for some while by Chris Johns and others to bring Python 3 to the platform has now seen fruition, with the latest version of the very popular programming language now generally available.

WinEd 3.26 released
After a decade of gathering dust that ended when Steve Fryatt took a look at the application, releasing a new version last month, WinEd has been updated again. This time, as well as looking at a few bugs, Steve has paid particular attention to the way it exports icon names, and re-implemented that feature completely.
IcnClipBrd and Clipper updated
Following an update in June to Clipper, Steve Fryatt has done more work on the program, as well as related module IcnClipBrd, bringing them up to versions 0.30 and 0.20 respectively.

Show report: London 2019
The 2019 RISC OS London Show took place on Saturday, 26th October – and once again (speaking as an exhibitor) seemed to be a buzzing, exciting show with plenty for the visitor to see and experience. It was the 11th London Show, with the first having taken place on 3rd October, 2009, and there was a good mix of exhibitors including large well known RISC OS names and smaller home-based operators. RISC OS Awards: Deadline, and an overdue look at the alternative suggestions
The annual RISC OS Awards poll has now been open for just over two months, and is due to be closed fairly soon. Shortly after the poll began I moved home and didn’t properly set up any computers for quite some time, so the planned occasional review and post of the ‘alternative’ entries didn’t happen, other than one quiet afternoon when I scanned through the votes that had been received at that point and tweeted those alternative entries.
