Announcement from the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club, 28th June, 2015. Getting Older Programs to Work on the Pi Meeting on Wednesday 1st July 2015 at 7.45pm This meeting will feature screen modes, filing systems and emulation to get utilities and games working on the Raspberry Pi and Pi2. Peter Richmond will be looking at the original Pi, whilst Terry Marsh and Malcolm Hussain-Gambles will be looking at Aemulor on both the original Pi and the Pi2.

Jon Abbott announced a week ago that the Archimedes Software Preservation Project now has an agreement with the former owners of Artex Software, Eterna, Minerva, and Visions of the Impossible (VOTI) to release their original Archimedes titles through the project.

MUG Show at Recursion Computer Science Fair

To be or not to be? To be, to be – obviously! Over the last few years, the Midsummer Midlands MUG Show became so excruciatingly small that for the last couple of years (2014, 2013) the visitor numbers have only just been in the twenties – and last year the decision was made that there wouldn’t be a show at all this year. At least, not a standalone show – but RISC OS users looking for an early July event to attend in the Midlands are in luck!
