A Fistful of Dollars allows you to run The Gauntlet with an early version!
Although the new computer from CJE Micro’s is not yet complete, there are apparently (and unsurprisingly) people eager to get their hands on what is expected to be the fastest ever RISC OS computer to date – so Chris Evans says that they will be launching an Early Adopter Scheme at the Wakefield Show on Saturday, 25th April, 2015.
R-Comp reports that demand for the
ARMSX ARMX6 computers remains high, with there still being a backlog of orders to fulfill – something which, while it’s unfortunate for those who are still waiting, is surely a good sign, as well as being something for which R-Comp’s Andrew Rawnsley says they are very grateful.
Time for a good dollop of ketchup… erm, I mean, time to catch up!
As ever, the result of devoting time to getting ready for a RISC OS show means putting other work to one side to deal with after – which therefore means I tend to be busy after the show, leading to a lack of updates to RISCOSitory (an effect worsened when the show happens to fall at the start of what is going to be a busy period anyway, as some do).
So the best way to deal with that?
A ‘Snippets’ post catching up on things and bringing the site back up to date! That’ll be this, then, starting with some event news.
