The Big Ben Club‘s annual gathering, the RISC OS eXperience (English translation) will be taking place this year on Saturday, 12th May, running from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Focusing on the support of Raspberry Pi and RISC OS amongst Dutch users, the event will take place at its usual venue, not far from Amsterdam:

Wijkgebouw de Vuister,
Molenwerf 44,
1541 WR Koog aan de Zaan,
The Netherlands.

Admission is free for both visitors and exhibitors, and the venue supplies refreshments for a reasonable price. There is a car park right outside the main hall at the rear of the building, and there is a railway station nearby and a bus stop right outside the entrance.

Announcement from Andrew Rawnsley, 6th May, 2015.

We are pleased to announce that we’ll be showing the new ARMX6 computer in Holland, and delivering some Dutch orders while we’re there. The new computer, which provides an all-round level of RISC OS performance/experience far ahead of previous systems, was (in part) created specifically for use in Holland. A Fistful of Dollars allows you to run The Gauntlet with an early version!

Although the new computer from CJE Micro’s is not yet complete, there are apparently (and unsurprisingly) people eager to get their hands on what is expected to be the fastest ever RISC OS computer to date – so Chris Evans says that they will be launching an Early Adopter Scheme at the Wakefield Show on Saturday, 25th April, 2015. Time for a good dollop of ketchup… erm, I mean, time to catch up!

As ever, the result of devoting time to getting ready for a RISC OS show means putting other work to one side to deal with after – which therefore means I tend to be busy after the show, leading to a lack of updates to RISCOSitory (an effect worsened when the show happens to fall at the start of what is going to be a busy period anyway, as some do).

So the best way to deal with that?
