That one time per year when non-members are definitely not welcome!

It’s the time of year when the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club holds their Annual General Meeting, at which they deal with group administrative issues, such as electing their committee for the year ahead, and discuss the future of the club and how it is run. Unlike the other meetings held throughout the year, therefore, this one is for members only.

For members who wish to attend (and non-members to avoid) the time and place to be (or not, as appropriate) is Monday, 3rd January, 2018, with a 7:45pm start-time, at the West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club, Sandal Hall Close, Off Walton Lane, Wakefield, WF2 6ER.

Normal service will resume from the next meeting again, which takes place on 7th February, with Tom Williamson from Ident Computer scheduled to be the guest speaker.

WROCC logoThe Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club is to hold its annual general meeting on Wednesday, 4th January, 2017, at 7:45pm. This would be the group’s scheduled January meeting, but it is customarily reserved for their AGM, at which their committee for the coming year will be elected, and attending members will be able to have their say on the Club’s future and how it is run.

As such, while non-members are normally able to attend meetings, the January meeting is restricted to members only – so please don’t turn up if you aren’t a member. The February meeting should see normal service resumed, which means non-members can attend for a small fee – details below. Continue reading »
