Buy a Titanium during September, grab a games bundle FOC

Five games for the price of none! (Well, ignoring the price of the Titanium, obviously!) The summer holiday period is just about over, and people with kids will soon see them returning to school (here in the UK, at least). Things will be quiet around the house during the day, so you’ll need some way to pass the time, having got used to entertaining the children during their time off. Elesar Ltd have provided a simple solution with their latest announcement, by offering a a bundle of five titles from…

Cyborg gets new implants, making it v2.20

Thankfully, though, that doesn’t turn it into a dodgy 1993 sequel1 Launched earlier this year at Wakefield by AMCOG Games, Cyborg is an arcade action game by Tony Bartram in which you take on the role of a cyborg treasure hunter, seeking out ancient treasure in Castle CyberDroid – and Tony has just pushed out Cyborg Second Edition, an update to the game that brings it up to version 2.20.

Free gaming from AMCOG with Mutant Penguin

You’ve heard of ‘Four from Toyah’, right? Well this is free from Tony! Videos from the Southwest Show

With the last couple of months having been somewhat busy here in the bunker, I’ve not yet had time to write a Southwest Show report – indeed, it is only just over a week ago that I was finally able to sit down and watch the four talks given at the show, which I was able to capture with my video camera on the day. Following that, I was able to devote some time over the Easter weekend to doing a little editing work on them, before uploading the results…

News nybble: RDSP beta receives a tune up

AMCOG Games’ Tony Bartram has released an updated beta [zip] version of his Wavebox-inspired synthesiser module, RDSP. The module provides modern RISC OS computer systems with the means to both synthesise sounds, and play back sound samples with various effects applied to them. The latest version – the second beta release – adds support for modulating samples via BASIC’s ENVELOPE command, support for sample looping (which means a simple drum loop, for example, can be made to play indefinitely), increases the number of channels to sixteen, and much more. For…
