Elesar Ltd is once again using the services of RISC OS Open Logistics, by offering a click and collect scheme for goods purchased in time for this year’s London Show, which takes place on Saturday. To take advantage of this scheme, which can represent quite a saving on heavier items, simply select ‘Pick up at London Show’ when choosing your shipping method at the check out.

The cut-off point in the past has been 10:00am on the day before the Southwest Show, and 11:00am on the day before the Wakefield Show – so it’s probably best to err on the side of caution and assume that this time it’ll be 10:00am on Friday. Elesar has let RISCOSitory know via Twitter that click and collect orders for the London Show will be accepted up until midday on Friday.

But only of some items, silly!

With the London Show looming, Chris Evans has made the shock revelation that CJE Micro’s has run out of stock… of some items! Chris says the company can recycle old Acorn and RISC OS gear “in the best possible way, by finding someone who wants to use them for their original purpose.”

A full list of items wanted can be found on the CJE Micro’s website, and they expect to have “an estate car full of space available” for the trip to the show, which takes place on Saturday, 29th October – but asks that people get in touch beforehand if they are bringing a large volume. Cash is offered for some of the more valuable items, but – again – please get in touch with the company beforehand to negotiate a price.
