The Southampton RISC OS Users Group usually meets on the second Tuesday of each month, and In February, that should mean the 10th. However, Dave Higton reports that there is a clash on that day with a Parents’ Evening, so the February meeting has been provisionally rescheduled for the following day – Wednesday, 11th February.
The meeting time will be the usual 7:00pm, running until 9:00pm, and close to the date of the meeting there will be reminders posted to comp.sys.acorn.announce – and, therefore, there will be something on RISCOSitory (provided I see it in time which, sadly, isn’t always the case) – and sent to anyone on the group’s mailing list.
The group meets at the Itchen College Sports Centre, Deacon Road, Southampton – at the College Centre, which is the open area with tables and chairs, adjacent to the Sports Centre reception desk. The car park entrance is accessed from Deacon Road, opposite Whites Road.
Meanwhile, the group name has sneakily morphed from the Southampton Acorn Users Group – SAUG – into the Southampton RISC OS Users Group – SROUG. It appears that announcements of group meetings have been using the latter name (in expanded form) for a few months – now duly noted here.
