DrawPrint 1.32 released

DrawPrint is an application from Sine Nomine that is designed to provide more versatile printing options for Draw, Sprite and JPEG files. It allows you to print these files over several pages at the scale of your choice. You can set margins and overlap between pages, or have page breaks inserted more intelligently.

Today, Sine Nomine have announced a new version, version 1.32, which adds a new feature that has occasionally been requested by users: Saving individual pages as Draw files.

This new feature, accessed by clicking on the ‘Save’ button in DrawPrint’s main window, allows the user to split a single Draw file into many, and therefore import the resulting ‘page’ of a Draw file into other applications, but no attempt is made to ‘truncate’ Draw objects which overlap page breaks – only those which appear on the requested page will be exported.

The new version also incorporates a number of bug-fixes which the developer, Hilary Phillips, hopes will stop DrawPrint crashing when printing JPEG files.
